Model Mentors
The modeling industry is an intriguing world, for sure. Only a select few get the opportunity to walk through those doors and though there are thousands of interested individuals desiring to make their dreams into careers, the reality is difficult- especially if you don't have proper guidance or direction.
Thats why we are so excited to have Katrina Chief and Franklin Terry on board! Both have experienced great success in their careers, and have joined the FBB team for the second year in order to contribute their experiences, their stories, their advice and their time. They are our Model Mentors and two of our biggest advocates, to ensure that Fashion Beyond Borders and all the wonderful models who are participating, will be operating at their best!
Dubbed the nick name "Twins", these two are a great team and among North Carolina's finest! Below, you can learn more about these two fashion forward friends and their excitement about the show!
Frank
Franklin Terry has had success both on set and behind the scenes. He began his industry career working behind the camera on BET's original series, "The Game", working with actors such as Megan Good, Tia Mowery, Brittney Daniel and Pooch Hall . Franklin is now signed with Marilyn's Agency, where he is contracted for modeling and acting. During his success and experiences, Franklin's talents have been showcased in local Carolina magazines, the men's line of H&M, Ralph Lauren, Belk, Rooms to Go and local business commercials such as Sheetz and Flow Automotive of the Triad. Franklin is also an achieved athlete and a kind friend! We are so proud to have his participation in this show!

"I will always love fashion. Even though my career as a model is no longer my focus, I have gained tremendous growth as a person through my experiences and I am very passionate about helping the next generation of models emerge from our lovely state. Fashion Beyond Borders is a culmination of many dreams. It's a way for my friends and I, of Pearls of Hope, to give back and share God's love, while simultaneously feeding my cravings for fashion. It's the best of both worlds!"
